British Korea Miniature Medal

British Korea Medal, awarded to British Army, Navy and RAF for service in Korea or offshore during the Korean War. Eligibility for the Queen's Korea Medal as follows:

This medals was never awarded without the UN Korea Medal. Navy, 28 days afloat Army,one days service in Korea RAF, one sortie, one day on land or 28 days afloat

The medal was approved by King George VI who died before the medal was finalised, it therefore became the first campaign medal awarded during the reign of HM The Queen.
